Every dog is different. Every life is different. The standard collection is made for no one in particular – and therefore for everyone. Bespoke is made for your dog alone. The hide is chosen for them. The hardware is chosen for them. The fit is calibrated to their exact measurements. There is nothing like it. There has never been anything like it.
The Process
Four Steps. One Extraordinary Object.
1. The Enquiry
Tell us about your dog.
There is no form to fill, no dropdown to select. Write to us. Tell us about your dog: their breed, their size, their life, their temperament. Tell us what you envision. Tell us what matters. We will respond personally within 24 hours.
2. The Selection
Choose what is yours.
We will present you with a selection of hides, photographed in natural light, showing the grain, the depth, the variation. You choose the leather. You choose the hardware: Oro, silver, or oxidised brass. You choose whether your dog’s name, your initials, or the RUBI monogram is embossed. Nothing is decided without you.

3. The Making
Into the atelier.
Your piece enters the atelier in Ubrique. One artisan is assigned to your commission from beginning to end. They cut, stitch, finish and sign the piece. You will receive a progress update at each stage, including a photograph of the work as it develops. Four to six weeks, depending on complexity.
4-6 weeks in the atelier
4. The Delivery
The beginning of something permanent.
Your piece arrives in a RUBI box. Inside: the piece wrapped in tissue, a handwritten card from your artisan, and a certificate of origin bearing the artisan’s name and the date of completion. This is not a purchase. It is the beginning of something that will last longer than almost anything else you own.

The Materials
What we work with.
Cognac
The warmest of our hides. Full-grain vegetable-tanned. Develops a deep, rich patina over years of use. The colour of afternoon light on old leather.
Bordeaux
Deep crimson. The colour of the ruby itself. Reserved, seasonal, and available only for bespoke commissions. The most distinctive hide in our atelier.
Naturel
The lightest. Undyed, untreated, pure. The hide as it was. Will develop the most dramatic patina over time — each piece entirely unique within months of wear.
Noir
The darkest. Almost black in shadow, revealing deep burgundy undertones in light. The choice of those who prefer their luxury invisible to everyone but themselves.
